I admire diplomats who lie for their country, but not for anything else.

Foreign Secretary Alberto Romulo told Karen Davila on ANC’s ‘Hot Copy’ that he had in fact ordered all the Philippine embassies to display the picture of the new Philippine President, Benigno Aquino III, on their websites. This is what he said:

The DFA website does not mention President Aquino to this day

If he did do what he said, why is it that up to now as I write this entry, the website of  the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) headed by Romulo has yet to announce that we have in fact changed Presidents.

Whereas Romulo is on the front page of the website, President Aquino is NOT.
